Photo Shoot with Deb Wat (Maternity)

Here are our favorite shots from our maternity session with Deb on December 4th (almost 37 weeks).

Photo Session with Deb Wat

Our very talented friend, Deb Wat came over for dinner and a photo shoot of the boys last night. We have a very special relationship with her, as she is the photographer we got in touch with through the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep foundation who came to the hospital to photograph Olive for us. Here are a handful of our favorite photos from this shoot. CLICK HERE to view the rest of the photos (with the option to purchase prints). You can also visit her site at debwat.com.

She even snuck in some shots of Grandpa and Gramme J while she was here! Check out this awesome shots:

Who Does Ronin Resemble?

A reference photo of Ronin:

Mom?
Dad?
Big Brother?
Big Sister?

It seems that in the first few days he looked exactly like newborn Reid, less a couple pounds (see scale photos below!). Lately though, especially during late night feedings by the light of the television, I'm seeing more of Olive in him.

Welcome Baby Faith!

Congratulations to our friends Kim & Darren on the arrival of their new baby girl, Faith Cara Joy Rogers! Kim and I shared due dates, however, while you can't tell by their sizes, Faith came nine days later than Ronin. Here are Ronin and Faith meeting for the first time outside their mamas' bellies:

A Closer Look

Our camera has once again become a permanent fixture in our home. Here are some of the latest pics of the new guy. Like all our kids, he's a hairy one, but check out the swirl on his back!!! Well, we know where the hair came from... but the vulcan ears???

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

We had the best Christmas ever! Our family was incredible! Since we were hosting Christmas for the first time at our new home, they came to our home while we were still in the hospital and cleaned then on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day they took care of all the food too. We had an incredible feast and the holiday was extra special because we had a new family member to share it with. Everybody took turns holding the new baby and if you were caught holding him for more than 20 minutes you were deemed a "baby hog". We had a full house for those couple days and so much help that we were nervous about everyone leaving and trying to settle into our new lives!

This is our retro tree that's been on display since September!

We had so much leftovers that we decided to invite all of our friends to come over on New Years Day and help eat all of it. We again found ourselves with a full house and many eager helpers. We loved introducing Ronin to them and Reid naturally kept his share of the spot light, especially when he strapped on his electric guitar!

Here he is, chocolate-faced and ready to rock...

And here he is sporting his "Billy Idol face"...
